This morning we got up early (again) but I woke up becuse the house batteries had dropped below threshold and needed to run the generator to get things charged back up. We watched the hockey game last night and didn't get things charged so it was not a surprise. We are still in this "lake" off the ICW that is really in the middle of the metropolitan Miami area, and despite that, is quite nice. Maule Lake. Went ashore yesterday and biked to a number of places, West Marine, a Publix for a couple of groceries, a Goodwill super store which was a disappointment, Cold Stone for a mid afternoon ice cream, Ace hdwe and the always necessary ABC liquor store. Came back to the boat, did some small chores and watched hockey. Plan on fueling up here this morning, the last time before the bahamas, then head down south of Miami to someplace in Biscayne Bay. I think once there, we will be into snorkeling and reef life, which we have been anticipating. I want to get under the boat and scrub the transducer and see if that helps.
