Today we moved south another 10-12 miles or so, but stopped at Oven Rock. It is a place where we anchored and took the dinghy down, went to the beach and hiked across the island. There is a trail that leads to a big cave we explored. Then moved on down the islands to Big Galliot Cay where we are anchored tonight. Went for a great snorkel, looking for lobster, no luck though. Came back to the boat and watched 2 barracuda circle the boat for an hour. Tomorrow will likely go on the Exuma Sound side of the islands and get to Georgetown where we will re-supply and begin preparing for the return trip. We will need water and groceries. We are pushing 3 weeks since our water fill and the last stay at a marina.

Reminded me of Table Rock on Crooked Lake

You can see the shells embedded in the limestone substrate

Entrance to the cave

Inside the cave, was roughly 100 feet across
Pool in the cave. The water was salty, but someone had placed a pail under a dripping stalactite which was fresh

The trail to the cave was marked with sandals, junk and this toy horse
