This trip is just about over. Left Jacksonville on Friday and went outside to the Brunswick entrance, up the river and are now in the Brunswick Landing Marina for the duration. Our trip from Jacksonville to Brunswick had some big swells, but otherwise was pretty benign. It started out sunny but the front came through over the day, clouded up and it rained for a while. We did have a neat sighting however, a Right Whale broached about a hundred yards off the port beam a couple of times. He was HUGE. We had a surprise visit from Eric and Shawn on Saturday. They stayed overnight in his tear drop trailer and then went back to St. Petersburg yesterday mid day. We are busy with boat chores, getting things donw to close up for a couple of months. Initially, the plan was to leave the boat here for the entire summer, but I don't feel comfortable with their boat yard, so I think we will leave it in the water, come back in June for a couple of weeks and taker her north to the Zimmerman yard where I know they will take care of her. We don't have any major work that needs to be done, but some little things. Yesterday I replaced the zincs, which meant getting into the ugly water with mask and snorkel. It went pretty well though. I got the zincs (actually aluminums) at West Marine near by and the guy that helped me had a Swiss/Germanic accent. He noted I was from northern Minnesota and we talked a while. He has a cabin on Pelican Lake near Orr, I am always amazed at who we run into.

Had this big guy approach us as we went up the river to Brunswick

Needless to say, I got well out of the way
